MP 1.2.11 - Old firmware selection does not work in Mono #754

When pressing Ctrl-O - I get:
Failed to get Firmware List: Error getting response stream (Write: The 
authenticaion or decryption has failed.): SendFailure)

and yes, it works in windows- however, flashing from windows in VMWare fails 
the verification every time.

this is a mono ssl certificate issue. i should be able to fix this
