Can you share some information regarding the purpose of this pull request? Are you running in to some issue that you're attempting to resolve? If so, please share the details.

From what I can see, it looks like the existing version of this documentation is correct, in that the event variable is intended to refer to the first NSAppleEventDescriptor named event on handleAppleEvent, not the second one named replyEvent.
