I think it would actually help to reference " Galaxy Zoo: Morphological Classification and Citizen Science" Fortson et al http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2012amld.book..213F
which goes through in more detail than you have space for some of the history and science results from Galaxy Zoo. I would suggest adding it to top of page 23 where you now cite Kyle Willett's GZ2 paper.
Something like:
"A full review of Galaxy Zoo science is beyond the scope of this review; a review of the project and many early science results can be found in Fortson et al. (2012), a summary of more recent science results can be found in Willett et al. (2013)."
