Dashboard UBRET issues #72

I can't seem to get the dashboard to work well.

reset colour doesn't seem to do anything
often get image lost and see a reflected image of the dashboard in place of the subject (used to happen in QD too before todays fix)
single filter images wont show properly
the sliders used to change for the single filter images but this isn't happening anymore

any idea what the problem is?

I think this issue needs some attention this morning: the VICS82 images are quite hard to interpret, so the dashboard could be very important. It's very sticky at the moment though! I cannot adjust any of the slider bars, and the ranges seem ill matched to what's required. To reiterate Aprajita's points a bit, the single filter images could be very useful - theres a lot more we can get out of the i band, in particular. Thanks @edpaget !

Ah, sorry! I meant that the initial range of the alpha slider is quite large, and the initial value of alpha is right at the lefthand edge. If we could start more centrally, and allow only a narrower range, that could be good. I think it needs some experimentation - which you can do on the live site pretty safely I think, I don't see anyone trying to use Tools. Yet :-) The color sliders ar OK I think, and Q is close as well (although is also a bit lefthand skewed). Good luck! let us know when you have something you'd like us to have a go with :-)

Everything should be resolved except the second issue Aprajita posted about. I haven't been able to duplicate it.

Hi @edpaget thanks for making the changes here's a picture of issue 2, i can get around it by clickin on another tab and then coming back to the page (so it's not critical) i used to get it in the QD too but that got resolved when that had some update dashboard i get it on firefox v 26.0
