Looks like the APMAG_I originally estimated makes the OM10 lens galaxies too faint, by around 1.5 mags. The trend in apparent magnitude with redshift looks plausible - it just looks as though the wrong FJ relation normalization was used when APMAG_I was first estimated. The zeroth order fix is to add 1.5 mags to the i-band when painting the lenses - but maybe there is something more accurate and justifiable we could do, @mbaumer ?
