Brainstorm for utils.py

Hi guys.

I want to start this session for more common and advanced utils.py
creation. I saw lots of utils.py on plug-ins. Maybe we can share our
thoughts,ideas and bring together of all handy codes together for 1
universal utils.py

Nuka's utils.py :

Good idea in my opinion. 
One requirement I would like us to thing about is where we would store this 
file.
Will we have to copy it over and over in every plugin ? how do we handle the 
updates
of this file? ...
To address those point I think the file should be released as an xbmc-addons 
python
library. But I don't know how this could be managed.

Queep, please move this discussion to the forum, link to the tread and close 
this 
ticket.  Issue trackers are fine for discussing the technical specifics of new 
features, but high level talks like this really belong somewhere else.

IMO looking at both the examples is that the stuff should either be wrapped up 
already 
in xbmc python module or it is plugin/script specific.

I might be missing the point of this but I really don't see the need for it :)
Removing me. Also abit offtopic perhaps but cc everyone, to me it feels abit 
rude as 
those interested will add themself or you cc those that have been asked to be 
it, but I 
don't know how its usually done here so I'm not gonna interfere with it :).
