Testing & simplification refactoring

This branch is a WIP for more comprehensive testing in poky and for successful builds.

• [x] Unit testing of kv.jdbc
• [x] Integration testing of kv.jdbc
• [x] Successful travis builds of the unit tests & removal of deprecated tests
• [x] Move kv.jdbc/jdbc-* to jdbc.util; same with tests

Second tier:

• [x] quiet c3p0 logging
• [ ] configure and add basic app logging
• [x] remove the memcache interface to simplify
