Mostly for sake of making it easy on contributors, I am wondering about the 
feasibility of moving / mirroring ``mingus`` on github?

I don't know if this is a desired route.  I assume an official mirror would be 
best.  Would anyone on the dev team tell me if this is ok for me tinker with 
myself?  I assume all forks of this on github should point the the official 
repo put in place by the owners.

I would like to see this on github.  Any suggestions appreciated.
