Multi-Catalog support: Merge Catalogs in the display #133

It'll be nice if there'll be a feature equal to the views but for catalogs.

Not sure what you mean - there is already the possibility to display catalog
selection menu on start - and even when going back - it has to be set in setup.
Is that what you're looking for?

No. That's not what I meant.
I mean a feature where you can merge two cataloges. For example: If you have
two catalogs C1 and C2 it should be possible to display only C1 or C2 (current
behaviour) or to display C1 & C2, which means all films in C1 and C2 in one
window.

Ok, understood.
From user point of view, this could be done by merging content of two catalogs
into one and then create several configs based on that catalog and apply config
filters - so either get content with filter 1, filter 2 or non filtered (which
is all merged content).
I understand, this is not completely the same - but supporting loading of
multiple catalog files into "one config" required changes in the base core -
this probably won't happen too soon, so I wanted to point to an alternative
usage scenario.

OK. I know, that this requires major changes. Maybe in V7 or something like
that. It was just an idea.
