TMDB grabber does not add/update cover #333

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to GUI > Updates > Get Internet Info
2. Select either TMDB-EN or TMDB-EN-V3 grabber

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The grabber finds the correct movie (Man of Steel in this case)
but no picture is displayed
If you choose update selected fields, the dialog displays:
Picture: 'pictures\' -> ''
MF Log attached
Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
When testing in grabber engine, if you click on the Image column in the Preview
on the Search Page, you get an exception error:

"************** Exception Text **************
System.ArgumentException: Parameter is not valid.
   at System.Drawing.Image.get_Width()
at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewImageCell.PaintPrivate(Graphics g, Rectangle clipBounds, Rectangle cellBounds, Int32 rowIndex, DataGridViewElementStates elementState, Object formattedValue, String errorText, DataGridViewCellStyle cellStyle, DataGridViewAdvancedBorderStyle advancedBorderStyle, DataGridViewPaintParts paintParts, Boolean computeContentBounds, Boolean computeErrorIconBounds, Boolean paint)

   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)"

If you Preview full grab on Details page - no image or imagesize displays. The
field (2) Cover, displays "C:\Users\Dadeo\AppData\Local\Temp\" (no image is
saved in \Temp)
However, if you preview param for URL Cover the image displays, but not the
imagesize. :S

I can verify this works in Grabber Engine, and GUI Updates, and Cover Manager
in r2870.

There is still an issue with the display! Although MF does change the cover in
GUI, it does not always display the same cover in all layouts/details view,
etc. However, I think this issue relates to Issue #304, so I will report in
more detail there.

This appears to work well in 99+% cases. However there are still a few cases
where the image does not get properly resized - see attached screenshot showing
one cover from TMBD for Man of Steel that is still 2.34 MB. If you select that
cover it still functions as I described above - displays in List and Cover
manager, but not in Details view or other layouts.

While I personally find this acceptable, I am reopening the issue to ensure
there is not something esle that can be done.

I am verifying this issue because I think the remaining few cases relate to
Issue #304: MyFilms as problems with some "Pictures" in catalog/Pictures folder
not to TMDb grabber or Cover Manager.
