Make license MIT or BSD? #1

Can the license be made MIT or BSD rather than GPL? (GPL tends to prevent industry collaborators for using/reusing the code.)

To answer your question, hopefully yes. In the mean time we have updated the license to our University's license, but that license has restrictions for profit commercial use, so we are in the process of getting permission to switch to the BSD license.
