As adding multilingual is slowing down the speed of project progress majorly, i would recommend to first complete more functionality and make more information about the community and members visible, before starting a translation project.

The work of coordinating translation for every new piece we add to the project is always underestimated. And content quality is easily dropping when updating translations is forgotten. Any it is still gets forgotten even if you add TMGMT to the game.

i see your point @mirodietiker and also didn't think we need this. what we discussed in the meetup was that we wouldn't need or want everything to be translated but just the landing page. currently drupal.ch is just a landing page. in that context, i think having a basic description of "drupal switzerland" available in more languages makes sense to me
