Github for DD&I workshop or office hours #80

In order to lower the entry barrier, would it be useful for the technical team to run some workshops or office hours in the DD&I channel for using Github to contribute to DD&I?

That way people who are on the fence about it or aren't familiar enough can have a way of getting more familiar. I can also see this being useful for contributors who aren't very familiar with Gitbooks yet.

I know this was my idea, but I don't feel that we have the capacity or volunteers right now to run Github workshops. It also seems like there are less complaints about the issue system :) Since we don't have any initiatives that are using Gitbooks right now and seem to be using wikis - I'm closing this for now.

In the future, we can reopen this if we see the need to have some technical workshops.
