This email is to notify you that a new Acquia Connector module package is available for you to upgrade within your Drupal 7.x application. Older Drupal 7.x versions of the search_api_acquia or acquia_search modules have a bug which triggers repeat calls to an Acquia API endpoint.
Acquia released new module versions on 14 January 2022 to correct the issue. Customers who upgrade to this search module will see reduced load times for their Acquia Cloud Platform applications.
Updates, Notes, and Actions Required
If your application(s) are using these modules, Acquia recommends updating the module version to the newest available releases for any of the following:
Update acquia_connector to version 7.x-3.9 or newer
Update search_api_acquia to version 7.x-2.8 or newer
You should upgrade your code and redeploy as soon as possible. This may be affecting your production application(s) if they are using any of the affected module versions.
