problem installing general tools in Appendix A (getting started)

Following Appendix A > General Tools: 
1. Installing springIDE from http://springide.org/updatesite/ as mentioned 
in appendix A, throws 
"Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements 
org.eclipse.swt [3.4.0.v3448f]" 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Obvious from the issue mentioned. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Eclipse Platform Version: 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700 on 
Windows XP sp 3 
GWT SDK 1.6.4 
G App Engine SDK 1.2.1 

Please provide any additional information below.

As a beginner in GWT and web programming, still trying to get my head 
around most of the stuff mentioned in your book. Quite amazed by the 
dept ... this was exactly the material I was looking for. 
Current installation of the tools will be of much later version than when 
the book was written. Hope the concepts and approach still holds good. 
Sorry for throwing in such a trivial setup question on your site.

Fixed. 

Many faced this problem and search will gather heaps of discussion forums ... 
but 
didn't find anything specific about it's cause. Finally a translated page 
worked for 
me. I had to uncheck Spring IDE ADJT Integration (optional). Still don't know 
the 
after-effects.
