If Outlook's AutoComplete feature isn't working, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Check AutoComplete Settings:
Go to File > Options > Mail.
Scroll down to the Send messages section.
Make sure the Use Auto-Complete List to suggest names when typing in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields checkbox is checked.
Clear AutoComplete Cache:
Go to File > Options > Mail.
Scroll down to the Send messages section.
Click Empty Auto-Complete List to clear the cache. This can help if the cache is corrupted.
Update Outlook:
Ensure Outlook is up to date. Go to File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now.
Repair Outlook Profile:
Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.
Select your profile and click Properties > Email Accounts.
Click Repair and follow the prompts.
Check for Add-Ins:
Go to File > Options > Add-Ins.
Check if any add-ins are causing the issue by disabling them one at a time.
Rebuild AutoComplete List:
If clearing the list didn’t work, you can manually rebuild it. Type a few characters of an email address in the To field and wait for suggestions to appear. Select the correct address from the drop-down menu, and it should start populating the AutoComplete list again.
Create a New Profile:
If none of the above steps work, consider creating a new Outlook profile. Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add to create a new profile and set it up with your email account.
