A possible solution is to add a third horizontal aluminum bracket to support the center. This would allow support without interfering in the path of the robot or columns.
See Test Lab 1. Issue resolved. Updating Foundation 1 plans.
Plans for Foundation 1 are being updated. Issue was closed accidentally.
Refer to Columns plan for placement of screws on Foundation 1. Make sure to avoid further hassles.
Another solution is to use foam pads. Pads are able to be applied anywhere underneath Foundation 1.
Solution 3 is to use both the bracket and foam pads. On a different note, delays are occurring due to non-project related issues.
Since Foundation 1 was updated and chosen solution works, recent suggested solutions may be ignored unless something comes up. Modification of Foundation 1 is in progress.
Modification was successful and Test Lab 1 result still proved true.
[x] Center of foundation 1 bounces when tapped. This may cause robot and foundation 2 to shake.
[x] Foundation 1 plan needs to be updated to reflect this issue.
