Primary beam is well-described by Gaussian over the HPBW, and a Gaussian model should be sufficient in most cases (e.g. real-time calibration). Primary beam width is fit whenever we measure SEFDs or azimuthal pointing offsets, and therefore will be monitored over time per antenna and polarization through those regular measurements. We may need to refine this model when considering calibration using multiple sources in a field.

Focus on modelling primary beam at boresight. Doesn't take into account direction dependent effects, including any pointing offsets.
