I dont know if the updated gog version 1.31 has this issue as I am downloading now but my internet connection is very slow.

Your installer cannot be extracted directly with innoextract - the actual data (the .bin files) are actually RAR archives. innoextract can call RAR for you but needs to create symbolic links. I suggest just running the installer normally.

@Jamesstevens-3rd, the current gog.com-provided installer for The Witcher 3 does not use their old custom RAR-based installers, so it should not trigger the issue you described here.
