Hello Brian,
I'm sorry, but I don't maintain this code anymore. I haven't had time to work
on it
for quite some time already.
I don't know yet what to do with the project, either delete it completely since
it'll
soon be broken due to the authentication changes (which are cool btw). Another
solution would be to find someone interested in pursuing development, but until
now
only very few people showed interest.
Since you're reading me and are the PM for Google Reader, can you tell me if
you guys
are planning to release an official API someday?
I guess that it's a bit annoying for you to do since it would give you less
freedom
to make changes, but I still think that it would be a good thing for developers
all
around, I'm pretty sure that many people would be interested!
I'd really love to have an official API even in different languages (e.g.,
ActionScript, Java, ...), you'd see very nice applications.
In any case, thanks a lot for Google Reader, best RSS aggregator EVER! ;-)
Sébastien.

Guys is there going to be the "official google reader api"? I've asked many
times on the right places but I still don't have any answer except that using
unofficial API is a violation of terms & conditions.
It's true that it brings less freedom for making changes but it certainly
brings tons of waste effort for people creating "unofficial APIs" and people
using them.
Appreciate any response, Jakub

Google Reader's PM told me that no official API was going to be made available
publicly anytime soon. They prefer to stay as free as possible to make their
service evolve (which is understandable)

Incredible, I like google and what they does, but some decisions makes me
sad...like this one. There is a part of API that shouldn't change at all.
Better something that nothing. This is anarchy :-)
Thank you Sebastien, Jakub

Of course, but they don't have that many people working on the project, thus
focusing on developing an API would also mean less new features for Google
Reader
