Naming this Beast #1

It has been suggested that this beastly proposal needs a name. My own suggestion, at this point, is a bit of self-referential humor that I don't think anyone but me would get without an explanation - 'Ↄ' (Roman Numeral, reversed one hundred - u+2183).

@dshadowwolf: Like I said on IRC, here are my suggestions:

Some kind of bird (inspired by Swift:)
- 'Peregrine,' perhaps? (Hmm, maybe not; that starts to veer towards long-ish…)
Something fast (also inspired by Swift:)
- 'Cheetah,' maybe?

I've also come up with the following additional ideas since we last bounced ideas back and forth over chat:

'Reverb' (Sort of inspired by your suggestion of 'Ↄ', which, as you pointed out earlier, is the result of a reflective asymmetrical transformation of 'C,' the existing programming language, since reverb is the sonic equivalent of visual reflection.)
'Rook' (like the chess piece, not the bird — the reason being that this could also get interpreted as a reference to a similar structure, like Metamor Keep)

Anyway, those are my thoughts on the matter as they currently stand.

P. S. @dshadowwolf: Another possible name would be 'Neo,' but that sounds too retro, even to my ears…

@RandomDSdevel "Reverb" is a nice choice and does fit the nature of my choice of the turned-C.

The two animal suggestions... While I'd like this language to be fast, using the fastest raptor or the fastest land-animal seems a bit like taunting Murphy.

"Rook" however, also works on numerous levels, so... Those two - "Reverb" and "Rook" - are on the list with the turned-C.

P. P. S. @dshadowwolf: Also, you might consider renaming the repository '-evolution' after its contained language's name is finalized since you aren't actually hosting an implementation of said language inside of it/here.

@dshadowwolf: Another name that might work and which is similar to 'Reverb' would be 'Riff,' but I think we have enough names already.

I…might actually use the name 'Rook' myself if you don't end up doing so? Sorry, it's stuck with me. (If not, I'll think of some other name eventually.) Some of my ideas on what a new programming language could look like might be a little different from what's brewing here, too; I might put them together at some point. Perhaps I could look into interoperating with your work here later, though…
