     As stated in the second commit's message, I just got reminded of something else and thought I might add it really quickly despite deferring the expansion of the section it landed in until another PR. (I might start working on it now, except I'm not entirely sure how well creating a PR from a branch off of another branch off of master might play when the intervening branch got merged into that last branch. Presumably, some git-command–based merge gymnastics should solve the problem, but, honestly, I'm still novice enough of a Git user that the mere thought of doing something like that without a tutorial scares me! 😵)

Actually, I changed my mind on that, as reading descriptions of the technique in question have made me somewhat dubious over whether it might actually be a good practice or not. Permission to rewrite history (using either git squash or git rebase -i) and remove evidence of this incident for now, @dshadowwolf?
