Could you clarify?
Normally pressing Alt+Tab shows all the running windows, and presssing Super+Tab shows all the running apps. Coverflow only shows all running windows for both shortcuts.
@CTimmerman, I just pushed some changes that make binding to 'switch-applications' optional, at least
I'm experimenting with switch-applications using a sub-coverflow:

Looks really cool! Sorry, this is off-topic but can I ask what other GNOME extensions/theme you're using? They look really cool.
@gabrc52: https://github.com/Griffith-Femto/forest-dots has a couple shell themes including "Forest" the one in the video. I really like both. I use the "Just Perfection" extension for the gnome icon activities button.

This is starting to look good to me!
Looks cool, but the bounce is a bit much imo. I'd put the app logo under the app tabs.
I didn't even notice the bounce haha (I go all-in for crazy easing). Having the little subswitcher is what I was focused on. I just implemented this, and already I am using it because I have a million siblime windows open and I can skip them all in app switcher mode. I'm finding it super useful!
Do you guys want to try out the group-by-application
branch to see if you like the application switcher behavior? Use the super-tab instead of alt-tab to see the application switcher.

I'm currently only using Windows and MacOS, but it looks better, except for the glitch at 0:33. I think the first video's animation is least distracting, albeit slow except for the background fade.
Currently it replaces both Alt+Tab (Switch windows) and Super+Tab (Switch applications) with the same feature.
Gnome Shell on Gnome 3.34.3 in Ubuntu 19.10 x86_64. Could not find version of Coverflow Alt-Tab in Ubuntu Software.
