If you stop the download of a world while sitting in a boat, opening the world in single player will make the boat inescapable -- you can't break it (while in it) or dismount.

You CAN place another boat and "re-mount" into that one from boat #1, which you CAN escape afterwords.

Thanks for the report. Good find.. nobody has reported that problem before. For now, just don't stop the download when you are in a boat. I'll take a look at it this weekend.
