Active menu item doesn't work #1

When "Home", "Categories", "Tags", or "About" is selected in the page menu it should change appearance slightly to indicate the current location on the site. There are a few other themes that I've found that this seems to be working correctly that I'm going to try and use as inspiration to get it fixed.

To actually practice this whole open source process, and be a good Github citizen, I'm going to make another empty Pelican project to test the changes and maybe submit a pull request to the theme source so others can enjoy a fancy, functional menu.

The spacing of the active item is wonky, but I fixed this at some point.
