Integrate play/trailer button on details page permanently to bottom of screen #369

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Watch your TV Shows and navigate to an episode detail page
2. Scroll over all the actors in this particular show to get to the play
episode button
3. Struggle to click it because your fingers are too meaty

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected result is a large button the size of the screen, a la the register
button in the attached screenshot

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
Beta from Market

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
HTC Evo vanilla 2.2

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
9.11 on windows xp

Please provide any additional information below.
Thanks! You guys rocks and I LOVE the remote :) :)

Actually, this should probably be labeled as a feature enhancement/request.
Another suggestion is to move the button to be higher up on the episode summary
page, right after the thumbnail or right after the description, but before the
actor list.

The small button issue is also true on the Movie Details page.

I'm sure it comes down to personal preference, but what about using a Button
Bar instead? That way you always have access to them without any scrolling.

The first three are for the same TV show as it scrolls, and the last one is an
example with the trailer button visible.

The header is also fixed while scrolling, but that's trivial to change.

Anthony, as the buttonbar overlaps the bottom part of the poster, I was
wondering it would be nice to have the button bar hidden default and animate it
into view when the user starts scrolling the page. Same way as the Android menu
appears. And of course animate out when scrolling back to the top.
What do you guys think about it?
