Socket timeout

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.the program is setup
2.configured to use the program
3.after few seconds pop up window socket timeout

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
v1.0.9
build 1009

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?
optimus black
ICS 4.0.4
kernel3.0.8
stock rom but rooted

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?
13.0 gotham

Please provide any additional information below.
after i install, configure ip, username..., a few second later pop up a screen 
like in the photo but the program is running without problem the remote control 
is working fine but i have only 3 icon on my phone like in the photo 
and maybe u can make a new skin coz is a little hard too see the name in the 
remote

I've got exactly the same problem.
I tried disabling ipV6 - as seen on some other forum - but it didn't help...
