Null pointer exception when 'Music' menu item selected #749

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Start RaspBMC (Build 13.2)
2.Start XMBC Remote (v 1.0.9)
3.Select 'Music' 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see list of Music albums same as on RaspBMC. 
Actually see error message. On clicking 'Close' on error message, XMBC Remote 
continues to display 'Loading' message and working icon, but list stays black. 
Haven't seen it timeout & give up yet. 

What version of XBMC Remote are you using?
1.0.9

Which Android device are you using (and which ROM, if custom)?

Which XBMC revision are you running and on which platform?

Please provide any additional information below.

Sorry - Missed that bit. 
Using XMBC Remote on Samsung N7100 running current cyanogenmod.

I have the same issue!
Using XBMC 13.2 stable
with XBMC remote v1.0.9

on rasperry-pi with Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2
