During discussions of modernizing use case documentation, the question arose of how to present the Python scripts of those MET Tool Wrapper examples utilizing Python. The Python scripts are currently housed in the MET repository, but to make them appear in the METplus documentation without having to update the link for every new MET version the scripts would need to be transferred to the METplus wrappers repository. Additionally, the scripts are dated and could use a second look to see if improvements could be made.
This issue's resolution should result in new Python scripts being added to the METplus wrappers repository that duplicates the current scripts in use, as well as updating those MET Tool Wrapper examples to call the new scripts and update the documentation accordingly.
