First, you need to do something with this impossibly long PATH variable:
PATH=/home/dante/LibreELEC-AML/buildoutput/toolchain/bin:/home/dante/LibreELEC-AML/buildoutput/toolchain/bin:/home/dante/LibreELEC-AML/buildoutput/toolchain/sbin:/home/dante/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/usr/lib/wsl/lib:/mnt/c/Program Files/Oculus/Support/oculus-runtime:/mnt/c/Python311/Scripts/:/mnt/c/Python311/:/mnt/c/Windows/system32:/mnt/c/Windows:/mnt/c/Windows/System32/Wbem:/mnt/c/Windows/System32/WindowsPowerShell/v1.0/:/mnt/c/Windows/System32/OpenSSH/:/mnt/c/Program Files (x86)/NVIDIA Corporation/PhysX/Common:/mnt/c/Program Files/NVIDIA Corporation/NVIDIA NvDLISR:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/system32:/mnt/c/WINDOWS:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/Wbem:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/WindowsPowerShell/v1.0/:/mnt/c/WINDOWS/System32/OpenSSH/:/mnt/c/Program Files/nodejs/:/mnt/c/ProgramData/chocolatey/bin:/mnt/c/Program Files/Git/cmd:/mnt/c/Users/gazul/AppData/Local/Microsoft/WindowsApps:/mnt/c/Users/gazul/AppData/Roaming/npm:/mnt/c/Users/gazul/AppData/Local/Programs/Microsoft VS Code/bin:/snap/bin
Most of this is apparently inherited from Windows, which really shouldn't be here.
Perfect, thanks for the advice I'll try to fix that and post my progress again here.
SUCCESS! the workaround of removing the windows path in WSL took care of the problem.
Thank you very much again!
Hi I ran into an issue while trying to build the image from source, Im using the code from tag 9.2.8.10-S8XX
The parameters I use for the build are:
PROJECT=S805 DEVICE=HD18Q ARCH=arm make image
OS: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS running in WSL2 (WIN 11)
You may notice tha the buildbase folder has been change to buildoutput instead of the autogenerated one. I've tried that to see if the issue was the route to the buildbase folder being too long.
Down bellow I'll attach the console output of the make command:
I have no clue of what may be causing the issue, hope the info I written here is enough to pinpoint the problem.
Thank you very much in advance
Cheers!
