Hi! faac is a patented audio coder; all distros then doesn't distribute it... but changing to fdk-aac the history is different because it provides a best quality and the fdk-aac provides a liberal, but not a license of patented technologies. Then we can to pack officially in all distro with the change... Thanks :)
