How does proxy-support work? I did not find this information from 
documentation.

It's actually covered in the documentation: there is no proxy support at this 
time 
(but patches are welcome).

Thank you from your reply. This statement at documentation is confusing:

"* Proxy support: somewhat incompatible with performance control features 
currently
employed by _skipfish_; but in the long run, should be provided as a 
last-resort option."

I translated it to form:"Somekind of proxy support exists, but it is 
incomplete." So
I think you should clear this at documentation.

There is a trick to use skipfish through a proxy:
