iNewsgroup does not support UTF-8 #19

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. just select bt.newsgroup.la 
2. add any newsgroup
3. view any news threads

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Garbarged characters

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Need to look into how to support UTF-8 at all, and where in my code I'm failing 
to do
so.  Will fix as soon as I can make sense of it.
