FIXED: If anyone else has this problem, our exchange server was set to POP3 forcing TLS rather than sending data in clear-text. Once we ticked the box to allow plain-text in POP3 and restarted the POP3 service it worked as expected.
Hi Everyone,
I am a new user to BugNet tracking. I have recently started my new job as a network administrator. I have enforced encryption to the exchange server to use TLS 1.2 and disable SSL 2.0 and 3.0 as per instructions from a recent PCI Scan. BugNet is installed on a 2003 server here locally, is there any reason why this upgrade on the exchange server would stop bugnet from sending emails through the email system. From the web config I have found it is using port 465 to send SMTP mail which should work. Also bugs that are being reported by our users are not showing up in the system anymore, I am having to keep an eye on the board manually through techsupport emails. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
