Add meaningful content on README.md #11

Description

The README file is meaningless. We need to update that.

This will be blocked until the content is provided. Probably this issue will be assigned to one of the maintainers of the website, since it's easier for them to get this content.

We might need a contributing.md or a development.md to better guide contributors to this project.
