Arduino 1.0.3 Not Compiling #901

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download ArduPilot-Arduino-1.0.3-Mac.zip from 
http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/downloads/list
2. Extract to Desktop
3. Run example codes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Code should compile. I was receiving an "avr-gcc" message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
ArduPilot-Arduino-1.0.3-Mac.zip on OSX 10.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.
Arduino 1.0.4 from http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software compiles fine. It also 
compiles the ArduCopter software fine. Maybe you want to mention that on 
http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/Code that the standard Arduino will 
work perfectly fine?

Note, I have not tried redownloading and unzipping it again.
