Connection is lost when deselecting option "Use tor"

I get a ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED error when I do the following:

activate "Use Tor" in duckduckgo-app -> Orbot running , connected to Tor
deactivate "Use Tor" in duckduckgo-app, tor still running -> Still connected to Tor
deactivate Tor in Orbot -> Proxy-Error in Duckduckgo app

Other apps work as normal (Browser, Messenger, ..) After restarting DuckDuckGo everything is fine

Using: Android 5.0.1 (Rooted), Orbot-version: 14.1.4-PIE and DuckDuckGo-Version 3.0.8
