There is supposed to be a widget pop-up window displayed in the bottom right hand corner with the title 'GreenGeeks LiveChat'

DDG indicated to me by email that certain tracking software scripts are blocked by default and that unblocking them to enable tools like LiveChat.com or other live chat scripts would defeat the privacy protection purposes of the extension.

In speaking with LiveChat, I determined all I could really do at this point was test for an instance of the backgroun chat object in question and throw up a popu-up letting them know that they need to turn off privacy protection for this site in order to use the live chatt/support feature.

It's a lousy non-solution, but it is where we are. So long as these live chat platforms use tracking libraries that DDG does not like they will be blocked.
