Instant answers and suggestions are loaded in Private Browsing mode

I see that requests are made in Private Browsing mode to api.duckduckgo.com, to provide Instant Answers in the context menu or to provide search suggestions in the URL bar.

While I do trust DuckDuckGo more than your average search engine, I expect this plugin to respect the user's privacy and not send keywords etc. to DuckDuckGo.

@bram85 you can turn the suggestions off in the settings in about:addons.

It seems the time has come to turn it off by default.

What I meant is that requests shouldn't be sent while in private windows, while they still should be made in normal windows (when the option is switched on). The option you refer to does not make that distinction: it's always on or always off.

I always use private mode, because of performance, but I want to use search suggestions in private mode too. What about having three setting option:

• always in ( e.g. for people who use private mode because performance )
• distinguish between private and normal
• always out ( e.g. for people, who don't use private mode, but has slow internet connection )
