Disappearing tab content #3563

On DDG 7.144.0.1 and iPadOS 15.8.3 with an iPad Air 2, tabs in the background will regularly lose their content.

To reproduce:

Go to any website in tab A
Open two new tabs B and C and go to any website
Switch back to tab A or close tabs B and C

Result:

As you can see, the tab still has the name of the original website but it shows the DDG new tab page rather than the actual website.

This can be refreshed by creating a new tab again and clicking back on tab A, which then reloads with the actual website, but it's still obviously not the correct behavior.

I've been trying to replicate today and have been unable to. Does it happen every time or just intermittently?

Can you let me know what your settings are in our app, in the General section (in particular "keyboard") and Data Clearing > Autoclear, please?

Thanks for looking into this!

Keyboard settings: show keyboard on "New Tab" is checked, "App Launch" is unchecked. Data clearing: Automatically clear data is off, no sites are fireproof.

The bug may not be as consistent than I thought, I tried to reproduce the bug this morning and everything worked fine, which is good. I'll let you know if it starts happening again!
