I'm tempted to say this is an issue with JNES. There's a group of us that play the rando each weekend for over a year now and I don't think anyone in our group has had this issue yet (and none of us are using JNES as far as I know). Most of us are either on original hardware, fceux, or nestopia.
It would be weird if this were emulator-specific. This randomizer does patch the E-Tank code to try and prevent accidentally using E-Tanks when at full HP. Do vanilla E-tanks work properly in JNES? Keeping this open just in case someone sees this problem again
When an E-Tank refill is activated, it does not stop refilling your health even after you're at max and will not let you navigate further around the pause screen. It keeps making the noise too. Emulator: JNES 1.2 Seed: CUOVDNQ
