Hi there!:)

I have a question consisting of 3 questions (maybe it's already possible with gridster):

Maybe to use images/works on TRANSPARENT bg and colored bg separately, then center and scale them independently in gridster?

I'm a graphic designer with almost NO knowledge in coding/programming/javascript/jQuery/HTML5/CSS3, I really like gridster and would love to have a simple 1-page website - resizable header (maybe it can be a TOP part of gridster?) gridster-based image gallery, 3 social links + email link and a contact form.:P

Maybe someone could help me!!!:) Thank you.:D

Gridster will work for what you are trying to do, this is not really an issue, so this is not really the forum for this type of question. That being said - answering your questions in order -

  1. you can do what you are asking with gridster, although I would not recommend making the entire page gridster.
  2. Just look at the demos, it will sit in a grid however you want to set it up.
  3. That is entirely up to you and has nothing to do with gridster, if you're stretching out a photo to 3x it's size it's probably not going to look great. I would take the bigggest size possible and scale it down from there for best results, aslong as you try to keep to a 1:1 ratio.

You could pretty easily get this done with the help of a friend who knows a little bit of html/css/javascript. Best of luck to you!

Hello.

Thank you for your detailed answer.:) Sadly, I'll have to scrap my plans to use gridster for now, but it's VERY nice anyway)

Good luck, mitya
