OpenID authentication with myopenid.com account fails #165

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Oryx start page in Firefox (I used version 3, but older version
should behave the same).
2. Insert ID of myopenid.com into the login field (mine looks like:
givenname.surname.myopenid.com).
3. Click login button.

What is the expected output?
I guess, I should be logged into the Oryx editor?

What do you see instead?
At myopenid.com an error screen is shown stating that the OpenID request
mode is bad (mode is: "none"). See attached screenshot. I don't get
redirected back.

Please provide any additional information below.
You can see in the screenshot that it displays my ID. The reason is that I
signed in to myopenid.com before and it recognizes me (using a cookie).

I can reproduce this, therefore accepted. I consider OpenID issues high
priority here.

Using yahoo causes this error:

Sorry! You will not be able to login to this website as it is using an
older
version of the the OpenID technology. Yahoo! only supports OpenID 2.0
because it
is more secure.

OpenID 2.0 works since revision 908. I successfully tested yahoo and myopenid.
The
fix is currently only available in the purejava branch and not in the trunk.

I can't log with my own OpenID service. It is at http://ismael.olea.org and it's
using the phpMyID app (http://siege.org/projects/phpMyID/).

I've attached the error message.

Probably it's related with the other problems reported.
