Hi, i'm trying to use this custom component but it does not seem to detect my machine. Can this component use bluetooth relays or does it need a direct bluetooth interface in the HA host machine?

This integration uses the official Home Assistant Bluetooth API. Check with a third-party application that can recognize FTMS support. Keep in mind that a native application, for example, FitShow, may work on its own closed protocol, which differs from FTMS.
