Error: The preview could not be loaded, error 403 #716

Above is the error we encountered, when we wanted to edit template using elementor, and Ele Custom Skin plugin seems to have this error. But when the Ele Custom Skin plugin deactivated, everything seems working fine without any errors. Could you please fixed that error? As we are using this plugin in our website for custom skin of blog post.

Here is what I found on the internet and with any luck can solve your issue:


What Causes the Issue
Any of the following may cause a 403 forbidden error:

Poorly configured [security plugins](https://www.bluehost.com/blog/7-best-wordpress-security-plugins/)
Corrupt .htaccess file
Your WordPress hosting company has made accidental changes to its server settings
Incorrect file permissions on your server, which can make your web server think you don’t have permission to access those files
How To Fix the Issue
To fix a 403 forbidden error, try:

Checking your security plugins. These plugins can block several IP addresses if they think those addresses are malicious. 
Downloading a backup copy of your .htaccess file. Delete the existing file from your server and try accessing your website. If your website is accessible, the .htaccess file is corrupt. Create a .htaccess file as detailed in the section on internal server errors.
Consulting your hosting provider. If you suspect that there are incorrect file permissions on your server, ask your hosting provider to check file permissions.

I don't have any wordpress security plugin apart from Cerber, and I also tried to deactivate that plugin, nothing happens.

also can you please export the template you are trying to edit and post it here?

I'll try to upload it on my server

Its not about particular template, but any page edit with elementor gives this error.

I have also fixed the execution time to 300 seconds. Still the same error.

I'm unable to reproduce the issue.

Can you please try this 2 thing?

  1. Reinstall Elementor and Elementor Pro
  2. Try moving the website to a staging server and let me know if it works!
