When new values or columns are added to open tables, nothing changes in the open window. Given that tables alone are very rarely used, I think the 'feature' having them update when scripts are run was never implemented. This should be added. Probably this should work just like for molecule archives where the lock screen appears when the script is run and then the table is updated afterward.
