Saving a configuration and being able to re-apply it when selecting from a
list.
It should be possible to save multiple profiles.

I'd love to see something like a Tasker or Locale plugin involved where
different rules can be applied outside (or inside) certain areas.

As an example, I get charged a LOT less when I'm inside a major city that my
network covers. Outside the city, I'd love to be able to automatically stop
automatic updates to apps and other things.

Hi, this would be great feature if we were able to have profiles.
For the moment when I want to allow internet usage - I have to set white list
and deselect "All apps" and vice versa - "All apps" & black list.
Also I think would be great to have a widget to enable/disable particular
profile.

I would also like to see this feature so that I can switch between the
following "profiles":

1) specific apps whitelist for general use
2) specific whitelist specifying Orbot app only (to ensure all apps use Tor
network)

Tor is too slow to use all the time, and selecting specific apps is a big task.

Nice app BTW.

Yes, that would be awesome!
e.g. for have a profile for own wifi access points and open ones to prevent
some apps to send personal data or save traffic on 3g. This would be also great
with a Tasker plugin!
Anyway a very great app!

If any of you are interested I found a work around to create multiple profiles
in the form of script files that Droidwall already creates. They need root
permissions to run correctly. I also found a work around to have them executed
correctly by Tasker when the screen turns off and on using SL4A. Here is a
guide I made for the LG Optimus V, but it should work on any android system.
http://forum.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?p=788344

You can also run them using Gscript with no special work arounds besides giving
them root access.

i also would love to see a profile feature where i can save certain set of
rules. for example to forbid closed source in everyday usage, but allow some
for example when i cant avoid to usre the google market...

profile is the enhancement more useful in every way:

1) while in roaming i can decide a strict profile (ie. only whatsapp active)
2) advanced use with triggers (ie. leave only whatsapp when screen turns off)

A workaround can be knowing how to run two istances of the same program

please rodrigo!

Yes, this would be a big help! At some locations i need to minimize my network
footprint, but at home for example, i want just the opposite.

This would be a very nice feature.

If there will be a chance to get it work, please keep in mind sheduled profiles.
So a profile can be enabled or disabled to a specified time.
