Hi, I've just got one of these weather stations and had been wondering how hackable it might be. I chanced upon this repository and will use the protocol info to set up my own service. I see somethings are missing such as HEX codes for some of the weather icons and would like to add to this repository when I find them out or discover more.
Unfortunately newer versions of these weather stations don't allow a URL to be set using the devices web page, so the only way to connect it to another service is to add a local DNS entry to override the IP address, This has been confirmed by the manufacturer. Newer versions of this station use the host app.emaxlife.net to get an IP address.
The weather provider they told me they use is openweathermap.org, however the forecast on openweathermap doesn't match what it shows on my station, so I'm not sure where the data comes from, however it isn't that accurate on the now data and forecasts differ from more local providers such as the met office (in the UK).
