You can use the UpdateUser to identify a user by a $distinct_id https://developer.mixpanel.com/reference/create-identity
You can use Track to track a $distinct_id https://developer.mixpanel.com/reference/profile-set

Sorry, I'm just using an example from readme.md and it doesn't work. When I started debugging the error, I found that the Identify method does not exist in the source code. I think you need to edit readme.md or add this method.

Hey @dukex I've just created a PR for adding identify method as I required it in my project. Please check and merge if looks fine to you.
