Anchor-wrapped buttons don't work on MSIE #129

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. View a person record using MSIE.
2. Click on one of the buttons below the record, e.g. "Delete this record".

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: The button should work (e.g. should allow deleting the record).
Actual: Nothing happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
50-9457156345dc
Windows 7, MSIE 9. Also reported by a user with Windows 8, MSIE 10.

Please provide any additional information below.
